Mission
The WVVMA is committed to the advancement of veterinary knowledge, animal health and service to the public. We provide our veterinary community with education, communication resources and professional development.
The WVVMA was founded to:
- Foster the cultivation of professional fellowship among veterinarians in the state of West Virginia
- Improve and elevate the standards of veterinary medicine within the state of West Virginia
- Protect the professional interests of veterinarians within the state of West Virginia
- Promote within the West Virginia veterinary profession the highest degree of skill, integrity and service to the public
